LESSON: Positionality

What might the issue be with your project? Be honest! Write down your views about it, your intentions and interests or what you expect to find out.
One issue that may occur within this project, is that I have a strong interest in the feminist movement, along with other human rights movements, which could affect my project as I may seem bias. My intention is to create factual, report-style final piece, that shows in detail how the legal system aided the development of the laws regarding to women's rights.
I expect to find out whether the laws changed due to social influence and stigmas, or if the ideas of the parliamentary lawmakers started the changes.

What steps are you going to take to make sure that your research is 'as objective as possible'? It may be to ensure that you have explored other arguments; you avoid emotive language or that you back up all of your main points/findings with evidence.
I will use plenty of sources, from different bias, to try and find a 'middle-ground' for my research.

Reflect on this post later once the project has been completed - how have you done?
